Product Description

The in-situ electrochemical cell is designed to study the in-situ spectroscopic and morphological changes of electrode materials during electrochemical experiments. Therefore, the working electrode is positioned directly beneath the window, enabling optical instruments to observe the surface of the working electrode from the upper window.

Product Features

  • The C031-S gas diffusion in-situ Raman spectroelectrochemical cell features three compartments: a gas chamber, a working electrode chamber, and a counter electrode chamber. These compartments are isolated from each other by a gas diffusion electrode (provided separately) and an ion membrane (provided separately), mainly designed for in-situ Raman testing of gas diffusion electrodes.
  • The gas chamber of the C031-S Raman spectroelectrochemical cell utilizes a serpentine flow field, significantly increasing the contact time between gas and gas diffusion electrode compared to the C031-3 model. The working electrode of the C031-S model employs a gas diffusion electrode (provided separately) with a defined area of 1cm². It features an imported planar sapphire window with a transparency of over 95%. The window diameter is 45mm, and the distance between the window surface and the working electrode is less than 3mm. This refined design allows the Raman cell to be widely applicable to most Raman spectrometers. The reference electrode (equipped with either Ag/AgCl or Ag+ electrode) shares the same chamber as the working electrode, effectively reducing R drop.
